Methods A survey has been made from the patients with IBS.These cases were divided into diarrhea-predominant IBS group,constipation-predominant IBS group,alternating constipaˉtion and diarrhea group.We analyzed all the cases.Rectal manometry was carried out in some of the cases.

用问卷调查的方式对腹泻、便秘、腹泻与便秘交替三种亚型的IBS患者的与内脏感知异常有关的症状进行了调查分析；部分患者接受了直肠水囊容积初始阈值和紧迫感阈值的测定。

Based on the functional classification of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Heat hind 42.55%, qi stagnation 23.40%, qi vacuity 10.63%, blood vacuity 6.38%, yin vacuity 8.5 1% and yang vacuity 14.8%. The changes in peristalsis was studied before and after treatment used to determine the significance of the results according to Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test in all patients. It showed that the treated group exhibited beneficial effects. However, patients treated with the Chinese herbal formula showed recurrence when medication was discontinued. The recurrence is similar whether receiving Western medication or not. However, after therapy with herbal formula, if patients receive BIOFEEDBACK of colon, the recurrence rate of chronic constipation was 15%. This significant in the treatment of chronic constipation is very important.

所有患者经防风通圣散治疗，并以Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test等进行统计分析其大肠蠕动改变情形，结果为有意义的改善，改善率为82.7%；但中药治疗后若停药则其症状又复发，停药两周后其便秘复发率为75%，这与目前大部份的中药或西药治疗便秘情形相同，但经防风通圣散治疗后，若再接受大肠生理回馈控制，其便秘复发率只有15%，故利用防风通圣散加上大肠生理回馈之训练对於性便秘之治疗是一有效之方法。

80 cases of IBS (according to Rome-11 criteria) were divided into two groups randomly. The treatment group (including 28 D-D3S and 15 C-IBS cases) were treated with Xin-Chang Ning Mixture orally, and among the control group 33 D-IBS cases were treated with Berberin Tannate,14 C-IBS with Cisapride orally.

将符合罗马Ⅱ诊断标准的IBS患者80例，(腹泻型51例，便秘型29例)随机分为治疗组43例(腹泻型28例，便秘型15例)，对照组37例(腹泻型23例，便秘型14例)；治疗组给予心肠宁合剂口服，每日一剂，分三次服，每次100ml；对照组腹泻型给予黄连素口服，200mg，Tid，便秘型给予西沙比利口服，5mg，Tid。

By statistical treatment ,the therapeutic effect of observation group and control group were identical,but in the way of ameliorating constipation's symptomes and signs, observation group surpassed control group;through clinical observation, the therapeutic effect of treating STC by Ru Yang Chang Dong Li pill was mild,didn't have side effect ,and many of patients defecated during the time before and after getting up , consistented with the time of physiological defecation.

结果：濡养肠动力丸治疗慢传输型便秘，总有效率95.84%，经统计学处理，与对照组无明显差异，说明濡养肠动力丸治疗慢传输型便秘与通便灵有相同的疗效，但濡养肠动力丸在改善便秘症状、体征方面，明显优于对照组(P﹤0.05)；经临床观察，濡养肠动力丸治疗慢传输型便秘，作用平缓，无明显副作用，且排便多集中在晨起早餐后这段时间内，符合生理排便时间。

Abstract］ objective to analyze the clinical treatment in the elderly patients with chronic constipation.methods two hundred and ninety-two inpatients with chronic constipation received the series nursing management: propaganda and education,improving dietary habitues and life style,massage,application of laxatives.results two hundred and twenty-eight cases achieved good results（78.1%）,64 cases were just effective（21.9%）.the total effective rate was 100%.conclusion the comprehensive management should be adopted in the elderly patients with chronic constipation.

目的 探讨老年患者便秘的临床综合治疗疗效。方法对我科临床收治的便秘患者292例，进行健康教育、改善饮食生活习惯、腹部按摩以及注入泻剂等综合治疗。结果显效228例（78.1%），有效64例（21.9%），总有效率100%。结论在临床工作中，对老年患者的便秘应采取综合治疗措施，特别强调改善饮食或生活习惯等非药物治疗。
