The devil core of the devil king is not small but as standing at a distant place from the core, it looks only the size of a kid-playing ball. Moreover, the floating numerous dark clouds makes the aiming more difficult. It's unlucky that Zen's left eye is his "aiming eye" so even though he keeps blinking, there is no clear sight of the devil core before his eyes but a bloody-red, blurred image.
