This shock produce huge lateral impulsive force and acceleration causing fuse mechanism plastic deformation and improper function. Besides, it may lead to fall-off in fuse safety.

造成引信瞎火的主要原因是由于弹丸在膛内运动期间，弹丸与身管内壁间的相互碰撞所产生的横向冲击加速度使引信保险机构产生多次重复振荡，使其产生局部塑性变形及破坏不能可靠解除保险所致；并可能导致引信膛内安全性下降。
