With the 39 species nrDNA ITS sequence from Genbank and by using nrDNA ITS sequence information of our study 31 species, a phylogenetic analysis was carried out on 70 species of Paphiopedilum, and then the results have been analyzed with the results from RAPD molecular marker of 30 species, indicated that, we supported Kirasawa's system proposed in 1982 on Paphiopedilum that this genus can be divided into six subgenera.

Using semi-quantitative RT-PCR, the differential expression profiles of eleven selected genes were confirmed in the ovaries of triploid and diploid. These genes fell in gene categories with a wide range of functions. The results indicated that triploidy affects the dynamic gene regulatory network in triploid ovary. This study established a firm basis for future investigation on characterization of crucial molecular events for normal ovarian development in shrimp.To further dissect exact gene functions for gonad development of shrimp, three differentially expressed genes between diploid and triploid ovary, PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen), CAS/CSE1 (cellular apoptosis susceptibility protein/chromosome segregation 1) and SSRF (spermatogonial stem-cell renewal factor) were characterized on certain aspects.

Rhodococcus erythropolis TJQ can use both organic and inorganic sulfur as vegetal sulfide. The strain growing with sodium sulfate can effectively desulfurize benzothiophene DBT and its derivatives 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene (4, 6-DMDBT).

实验结果表明，该菌既可以利用有机硫源又可以利用廉价的无机硫源作为生长硫源，以硫酸钠作为硫源培养的菌株可专一性脱除苯并噻吩和DBT及其甲基衍生物4，6-二甲基二苯并噻吩(4，6-DMDBT)中的硫。

The result from phylogenetic trees created respectively by MP, NJ and UPGMA indicates that Bryaceae and Bryum are not monophyletic. The definition of some groups of Bryaceae and Bryum is doubtful in traditional classification based on morphological data. The analyses approves that Pohlia is more closely related to Mniaceae than Bryaceae, which supports placement of Pohlia in Mniaceae from Bryaceae based on DNA sequence data.
