Objective To understand the prevalence, clinical manifestations and complications of patients with typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever in Guangzhou.

目的 了解近10年广州地区伤寒、副伤寒的流行、临床表现及并发症方法采用回顾性分析1997～2006年间我院伤寒、副伤寒的住院病例。

Methods Based on the data for the epidemic situation of the typhoid and paratyphoid fever in the recent 10 years all over China and the measurements for disease control and prevention that have been done, the epidemic situation of typhoid and paratyphoid fever in the recent 10 years throughout China was analyzed by SPSS 10.0 software.

方法利用近10年的全国伤寒副伤寒疫情资料，用SPSS 10.0软件，并根据开展的疾病控制工作，分析了近10年伤寒副伤寒在我国的发病情况。
