This thesis tries to examine the Orientalization of abstract sculpture in Taiwan, which means the sculptor shows his identification with Oriental culture via specific Oriental iconography in his works. Taiwan's abstract sculptors took the Orientalization of abstract sculpture as the way of transcending the Western art.
