The test in 2007 showed that the effect of 5% potassium nitrate on breaking dormancy of Gala dormant bud was the best, and the average germination rate was 78.33%. The tests in 2 years showed that the effect of calcium cyanamide with 5 times liquid on breaking dormancy of Jufeng dormant bud was the best.

结果］2006年试验发现，浓度为5%、7%的硝酸钾打破嘎拉休眠芽的效果最好，平均萌芽率分别为72.00%和69.33%；2007年试验发现，浓度为5%的硝酸钾打破嘎拉休眠芽的效果最好，平均萌芽率为78.33%。2年试验发现，浓度为5倍液的石灰氮打破巨峰休眠芽的效果最好。

The dormant bud of apple variety Gala was smeared with potassium nitrate at 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9%, and the dormant bud of grape variety Jufeng was smeared with calcium cyanamide diluted at 2,5 and 8 times (weight ratio of calcium cyanamide to water was 1:2). The effects of potassium nitrate and calcium cyanamide with different concn. on breaking natural dormancy of fruit tree were studied.
