Known as the last Darayee weaver in Yazd, Iran, Ramazan Rezayee is creating a rich and symbolic Persian rug. Pressing down the wooden panel to secure the colorful threads, Ramazan begins this traditional art. With each shuttle, the wooden machine clicks away looming together the silken threads of natural tones dipped in pots of red, green and blue dyes. He has been doing this ancient skill for 70 years and intends to keep this artistry alive till his final breath.
