Guarentee: Act of guarentee is performed by a third party called guarantor, who engages that the bill will be paid on presentation if it is a sight bill or accepted on presentation and paid at maturity if it is a time bill.

N年前担保是非常需要的，如果受票人不能付款，那么就得由担保人付款。一般情况下如果受票人是银行的话，很少需要担保。

"Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, when a bill is dishonoured by non-acceptance, an immediate right of recourse against the drawer and indorsers accrues to the holder, and no presentment for payment is necessary."

除本条例另有规定外，凡汇票因不获承兑而不能兑现，执票人即有直接向发票人及背书人追偿之权利，而毋须作付款提示。
