In the end the paper takes a empirical study on our country's iron and steel industry and reaches a conclusion as follows: the optimal concentration point of our country's iron and steel industry is to keep 35 to 70 iron and steel companies in the whole industry and the optimal scale of iron and steel company is to keep 1.73 to 2.60 million tons.

本文最后还结合我国钢铁产业实际，测定2000年我国钢铁产业的最优集中区间为产业中保持有35-70家钢铁企业，钢铁企业的最优规模区间为173-260万吨。
