This paper makes a first attempt to survey the relationship between Waley and the elite intellectual group in the early 20th century London, that is the Bloomsbury Group, analyze the background of Waley's success on the translation of Chinese poetry and his Sinologue and describe the Bloomsbury Group connection to Chinese culture.
