In the combined treatment of the craniopharyngiomas, it is very important to prevent the irradiation injury of the surrounding structures such as the optic nerve, chiasm, hypothalamus and vascular structures. In those structures, the optic nerve and chiasm are the most sensitive ones to the irradiation, and their ability to bear the irradiation is about 9 to 12 Gy. So if the irradiation dose is lower than 9Gy, the treatment will be safe. We have not found any report about the bearability and side effect of the hypothalamus related to the gamma knife radiosurgery.

The isothermally crystallized films of the low temperature fractions of the two PPEs possess the similar crystalline morphology, i. e., thinner and high content of cross-hatching lamellae. BACKGROUND: This is a systematic review of studies on the prevalence of osteoarthritis in the tibiofemoral joint more than 10 years after an anterior cruciate ligament injury, the radiologic classification methods used, and risk factors for development of knee osteoarthritis.

It has been well documented that the fibular collateral ligament is the primary varus stabilizer of the knee.8,10 Consequently, isolated FCL injuries can elicit abnormal varus knee instability that can lead to functional limitations, a varus thrust gait pattern, and the potential development of medial meniscal tears or medial compartment arthritis over time due to the increased compressive forces at the medial tibiofemoral compartment.16,23,30 In addition, it has been demonstrated that varus instability, primarily due to a deficient FCL from an untreated posterolateral knee injury, causes a significant increase in force on both anterior cruciate and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction grafts.11,21,22 Therefore, a reconstruction technique to address nonrepairable acute or chronic isolated FCL tears is important to address these pathologic abnormalities.

The results indicate that the PPV oligomer with biphenyl bridge is a cross form between two chains and tortuose derivative in the same chain. Then the problems of overemphasizing scientific and technological rationality in traditional engineering education are studied. At last, the corresponding strategies of engineering education are dealt with based on integrated rationality and contemporary engineering values.

A single machine scheduling problem with batchs setup time depending on sequence is proposed. The math model to minimize setup times is upbuilt. An improved adaptive hybrid genetic algorithm is brought up for solving this scheduling problem. Several operators are redesigned according to the characteristic of this scheduling problem. Follow job optimization recombination crossover is advanced for transmitting the good character to the offspring. To improve the mountain climbing ability of the genetic algorithm, the mutation is replaced by a local optimization algorithm.
