17 The king of Assyria sent his supreme commander, his chief officer and his field commander with a large army, from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem.

In the days of Phacee king of Israel came Theglathphalasar king of Assyria, and took Aion, and Abel Domum Maacha and Janoe, and Cedes, and Asor, and Galaad, and Galilee, and all the land of Nephtali: and carried them captives into Assyria.

以色列王培卡黑在位时，亚述王提革拉特丕肋色尔前来，侵占了依雍、阿贝耳贝特玛阿加、雅诺亚、刻德士、哈祚尔、基肋阿得、加里肋亚和纳斐塔里全地；并将这些地方的居民都掳往亚述。

强暴的亚述王，更加严酷的统治埃及人，但到了廿章，情况有了戏剧性的改变，亚述人不再严酷对待压制下的埃及人，原因是许多犹大人在亚述人和巴比伦人的压迫下，移民到埃及成为难民，在埃及他们说希伯来话，自成一村庄，这群人敬拜上帝，且说公义、纯正、爱和真理的话（番3：9，13），因祂子民如此，上帝免去他们受苦，连带埃及也免受苦。

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah, saying, Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, Because you have prayed to Me concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard.

19：20 亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就打发人去见希西家，说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，你既向我祷告亚述王西拿基立的事，我已听见了。

20 Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah: This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I have heard your prayer concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria.

19：20 亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚、就打发人去见希西家、说、耶和华以色列的神如此说、你既然求我攻击亚述王西拿基立、我已听见了。

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, That which you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚就打发人去见希西家，说：耶和华─以色列的神如此说：你既然求我攻击亚述王西拿基立，我已听见了。

Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah: This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Because you have prayed to me concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah, saying, Thus says Jehovah the God of Israel, Because you have prayed to Me concerning Sennacherib the king of Assyria

37：21 亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚，就打发人去见希西家，说，耶和华以色列的神如此说，你既向我祷告亚述王西拿基立的事
