This paper is devoted to the study of the torsional stresses in a reinforced concrete headframe of the frame cantilever-type under the unsymmetrical, horizontal load due to hoisting.

Based on a simple and applicable method for sensitivity analysis, the updating parameters were determined such as material, cross shape and size of the main loading rods in the rig derrick.
