Sp. tritici of the F1 plants were tested at the seedling and adult stages. The results indicated that dominant and semi-dominant genes were responsible for powdery mildew resistance at the seedling stage, while dominant, semi-dominant and recessive genes were found controlling the powdery mildew resistance at the adult plants. After testing the Pm30 linked SSR marker Xgwml59 on the 40 F1 hybrids between wild emmer and common wheat, it was found that the Pm30 linked Xgwm159 loci could be detected at 8 F1 hybrids, indicating the 8 wild emmers might also carry the Pm30 gene.

Using semi-quantitative RT-PCR, the differential expression profiles of eleven selected genes were confirmed in the ovaries of triploid and diploid. These genes fell in gene categories with a wide range of functions. The results indicated that triploidy affects the dynamic gene regulatory network in triploid ovary. This study established a firm basis for future investigation on characterization of crucial molecular events for normal ovarian development in shrimp.To further dissect exact gene functions for gonad development of shrimp, three differentially expressed genes between diploid and triploid ovary, PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen), CAS/CSE1 (cellular apoptosis susceptibility protein/chromosome segregation 1) and SSRF (spermatogonial stem-cell renewal factor) were characterized on certain aspects.

Our study designed two pairs of specific primers and cloned two molecular weight of 63ku from Schizaphis graminum, and Rhopalosiphum maize utilizing PCR technique and have done the prokaryotic expression, the main results are as follows:(1)Amplified the Buchnera groEL of Schizaphis graminum, and Rhopalosiphum maize Yangling Biotype at first time all over the world ,and sequenced the full lenghth gene.

In order to overcome the problem of multidrug resistance in human epidemic carcinomata anti-adriamycin cells (KB-A-1), the antisense and antigene oligonucleotides were used to investigate their effectiveness on inhibiting the mdr1 gene expression. The effectiveness of antisense or antigene oligonucleotide on inhibiting the multidrug resistance was detected by MTT colometric assay and ELISA.
