N,N-dichlorocyclohexylamine derived from sodium cyclamate by sodium hypochlorite in the filtrate was extracted by hexane. The HPLC separation was carried out with a phenomenex Gemini-C18 column using acetonitrile-water(7+3) or methanol-water (8+2) as mobile phase and detected by UV monitor at 314 nm. External standard method was used for quantification.
