结果发现，4.4 kb与2.7 kb之CYP11A1启动子皆可使Cre重组酶表现於胚胎脑部，前者主要表现在中脑、间脑及嗅球，后者仅主要表现在中脑尾端，说明了CYP11A1在不同脑区表现所需的元素有所不同，可能有不同的调控机制。
