This paper utilizes the ERS-1 Wind Scatterometer data provided by ESA through our international collaboration. The works described in this paper have originative significance, and are pioneering in the research of spaceborne scatterometer data applications for the land surface in China, which are kept abreast with international level in data processing, analysis and applications.
