The above-stated basic policies of the People^s Republic of China regarding Hong Kong and the elaboration of them in Annex I to this Joint Declaration will be stipulated, in a Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People^s Republic of China, by the National People^s Congress of the People^s Republic of China, and they will remain unchanged for 50 years.

Article 268 In the case of an application or request for recognition and enforcement of a legally effective judgment or written order of a foreign court, the people's court shall, after examining it in accordance with the international treaties concluded or acceded to by the People's Republic of China or with the principle of reciprocity and arriving at the conclusion that it does not contradict the basic principles of the law of the People's Republic of China nor violates State sovereignty, security and social and public interest of the country, recognize the validity of the judgment or written order, and, if required, issue a writ of execution to enforce it in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Law; if the application or request contradicts the basic principles of the law of the People's Republic of China or violates State sovereignty, security and social and public interest of the country, the people's court shall not recognize and enforce it.

第二百六十八条人民法院对申请或者请求承认和执行的外国法院作出的发生法律效力的判决、裁定，依照中华人民共和国缔结或者参加的国际条约，或者按照互惠原则进行审查后，认为不违反中华人民共和国法律的基本原则或者国家主权、安全、社会公共利益的，裁定承认其效力，需要执行的，发出执行令，依照本法的有关规定执行。违反中华人民共和国法律的基本原则或者国家主权、安全、社会公共利益的，不予承认和执行。

第六条 中华人民共和国主管机关有权对专属经济区的跨界种群、高度洄游鱼种、海洋哺乳动物、源自中华人民共和国河流的溯河产卵种群、在中华人民共和国水域内度过大部分生命周期的降河产卵鱼种，进行养护和管理。

The competent authorities of the People's Republic of China shall have the right to conserve and manage straddling species, highly migratory species, marine mammals, anadromous stocks that originate in the rivers of the People's Republic of China, and catadromous species that spend the greater part of their life cycle in the waters of the People's Republic of China.

第六条 中华人民共和国主管机关有权对专属经济区的跨界种群、高度洄游鱼种、海洋哺乳动物、源自中华人民共和国河流的溯河产卵种群、在中华人民共和国水域内度过大部分生命周期的降河产卵鱼种，进行养护和管理。

Article 6 The competent authorities of the People's Republic of China shall have the power in its exclusive economic zone to conserve and manage the trans-boundary population, highly migrating fishes, marine mammals, anadromous spawning population orignating in rivers of the People's Republic of China, and downstream spawning fishes speading most of their life cycles in the water areas of the People's Republic of China.

第六条 中华人民共和国主管机关有权对专属经济区的跨界种群、高度徊游鱼种、海洋哺乳动物、源自中华人民共和国河流的溯河产卵种群、在中华人民共和国水城内度过大部分生命周期的降河产卵鱼种，进行养护和管理。
