The development of Chinese architecture of modern times reached its climax from 1900 to 1937.During this period, especially the earlier stage, the main trend of architectural development is western revivalism and eclecticism. The eclecticism of western architectural history happened in earlier nineteenth century till the beginning of twentieth century.
