The results showed that the D50 of Astragalus membranaceus and Epimedium brevicornum ultra-fine powder were 6.82μm and 8.40μm separately. The broken cellular walls of two ultra-fine herbal powder were bigger than those of the commonly cribble, and intact cells were not visible under SEM, and it improved the mixed uniformity. On the contrary, organization blocks of the commonly cribble were clearly discernible, also the shape and granularity were irregular, and the organization cells were still complete. The bulk density and liquidity of Astragalus membranaceus and Epimedium brevicornum increased significantly after ultra-fine Smashing. The component icariin extraction content of the ultra-fine powder was enhanced by 18.31% compared with the cribble by the chromatograph analysis of icariin. At the same time, Astragalus membranaceus polysaccharide and Epimedium brevicornum polysaccharide content of the ultra-fine powder were enhanced by 117.13% and 315.15% compared with the cribble.

Among the 45 neurons generating phasic firing, 8 (17.78﹪) neurons could still be induced phasic firing after treatment with 1×10-2 μg/mL SVHRP and 37 (82.22﹪) neurons had no responses to the stimulation. The AP firing of neurons was dramatically different after treatment with SVHRP (P<0.01, n=45). Among the 7 repetitive firing neurons, all of them could only generate 1 or 0 AP instead of repetitive firing when SVHRP was applied. The number of APs was 14.57±1.00 and 0.57±0.20 before and after SVHRP treatment (P<0.01, n=7). The AP rheobase was (75.10±8.99) pA and (119.85± 12.73) pA before and after 1 × 10-4 μg/mL SVHRP application, respectively (P<0.01,n=8). The AP threshold was increased from (-41.17±2.15) mV to (-32.40±1.48) mV after 1×10-4 μg/mL SVHRP treatment (P<0.01,n=8). The peak amplitude of AP was (68.49±2.33) mV for the neurons before treatment with 1×10-4 μg/mL SVHRP and (54.71±0.81)mV after treatment (P<0.01, n=8). These results showed that SVHRP could decrease the AP firing frequency, increase the AP rheobase and threshold, but decrease the AP peak amplitude of hippocampal neurons.

The results showed that different topping frequency (at intervals of 15 d, 30 d, 60 d, 90 d) had no evident influence on total wine loss, volatile acid content, T-SO2,F-SO2, wine colour, and wine pH values. Under constant temperature and humidity conditions, total wine loss was closely correlated with the using degree of Chinese barrel and the storage time in Chinese barrel. Volatile acid content slightly rose along with wine storage time. The content of SO2 dropped rapidly during 15 d after wine filling, but dropped tardily ever since. Wine colority rose remarkably during 15 d after wine filling, but climbed tardily ever since. Wine colority change was unstable, it changed wavily and depressed on the whole. In conclusion, it was recommended that the best topping interval was 90 d.
