A novel Belousov-Zhabotinskii type oscillating reaction was observed in a closed serine-BrO^-~3-Mn^2^+- H2SO4 system(Ser-BZ system), which exhibited the followign characteristics:(1)Although Ser is unable to be brominated, the sustained oscillations could still be observed in the above system under batchreactor conditions even in the absence of either acetone or inert gas flow.(2)The present oscillations displayed extremely short induction period(0) and very few oscillation number(1).(3)Cl^-, acrylonitrile, or Br^- could effectively inhibit the oscillations. However, in the case when enough Ag^+ was addedinto the system to completely inhibit the oscillations in , the oscillations on the Pt-electrode could still be observed.

The effects of electroplated Ni layer and electroless plated Ni-P layer on the diffusion behavior in Sn-Ag/Cu solder joint were studied. The results by EPMA analysis showed that the electroless plated Ni-P layer acted as a good diffusion barrier between Sn-Ag solder and Cu substrate. However, the electroplated Ni layer can not hinder the inter-diffusion and reaction between molten Sn-Ag solder and Cu substrate when reflowing, and there was a layer of IMC (Cu6Sn5) at interface of Sn-Ag/C u solder joint.

On the other hand, the energy transfer from excited B was obviously slowed down in the pheophytin-exchanged RC. By considering the change of free energy of ion pair P〓Phe〓, it could be expected there might exist alternative pathway of charge separation and electron transfer in pigment-exchanged reaction center. In addition, the influence of acid environment on the ultrafast dynamics of reaction center was also experimentally observed, which shows an evident difference from that of in native RC, and further investigation should be carried out to elucidate the origination.
