I designed a couple of boats for Abbate, a 60' first then a few years later a 70', they were open day boats… well not really the 70' wasn't a classis open , it already sported a protective spray screen just forward of cockpit, which grew in time becoming increasingly visible paving the way for the modern screen tops of today that practically close the boat off.

本文的研究是在上海国际航运中心建设核心工程洋山深水港的大前提下，首先，通过利用SWOT分析方法分析了上海海事局面临的形势，对上海海事局现有航政管理船舶现状进行分析，对洋山深水港海域的水文气象情况进行了调研，对当前主要船型进行分析，对选择小水线面船的背景加以阐述，提出建设小水线面双体海事巡逻船的必要性：接着，对小水线面船的原理、特点加以介绍，并对小水线面船国内外发展状况进行了分析，对国内设计建造小水线面双体海事巡逻船的技术可行性进行了研究分析，得出国内设计建造小水线面双体巡逻船在技术上是可行的；然后对国内外应用于海事管理等工作的小水线面船型进行分析，提出初步的方案，并对方案的技术经济性能进行研究，通过对主尺度和主机选型等进行比较优化后最终提出初步的设计方案模型，并确定设计任务书。

传统的解决办法是，将台风中心的预报位置和本船的船位点绘在《台风位置标示图》上，研究本船与台风的相对位置以及相互间动态的发展态势，考虑各种因素的影响并留有充分余地，在小比例尺海图上用几何相对运动标绘的方法作图绘算出本船应采取的避台航向。本文所讨论的就是为迅速和较为精确地解决以上点绘和相对运动标绘的问题，在考虑了各种因素的影响并留有充分余地的情况下，在全方位范围内搜索安全航向，对本船与台风的相对位置以及两者之间的动态发展态势作出预报，并给出船长最关心的、对其作出避台决策至关重要的一组数据和直观图形，帮助使用者及早制订科学合理的避抗预案，及时果断地采取正确有效的避抗措施，解决避台决策的实际问题而设计的一个计算机标绘系统。
