In this report, the 59Tc labelling of Annexin V fragment modified with HYNIC (HYNIC-Anx13) using Tricine, EDDA or EDDA/Tricine as coligands was described. The effect of various factors on 99Tc labelling was investigated. Biodistribution studies in normal mice and gamma imaging of apoptosis in rats induced by cyclophosphamide were performed.

Methods: TOCA was labeled with (superscript 99m)Tc using HYNIC as bifunctional chelator, EDDA and trieine as coligand. The nude mice bearing human small cell lung cancer underwent static whole body planar imaging after the injection of (superscript 99m)Tc-HYNIC-TOCA or (superscript 99m)Tc-P829. ROIs were drawn and the radioactivity ratios of target to non-target were calculated in every planar imaging. The dynamic biodistribution study was operated in Kunming mice and the percent uptake ratios of two imaging agents in different tissue at different time were measured.

The main results are as follows.1. The UV-visible absorption spectra, the spin-trapping EPR measurements, and the DPA (9,10-diphenylanthracene) bleaching experiments showed that (1) HB-Net exhibits much improved light harvesting efficiency in the phototherapeutic window (600-900 nm) as the result of its remarkable absorption red shift with respect to HB;(2) HB-Net remains the generation abilities of semiquinone anion radical, superoxide anion radical, hydroxyl radical, and singlet oxygen, but with much lower efficiencies than that of HB, most likely due to its very short triplet excited state lifetime.

The results show that the interaction energies of hydrogen bond complexes between acetamide and picoline isomers have great effects on the values of h_.
