Methods The expression and change of TF and TFPI were detected in the peripheral venous blood samples from 20 normal controls, and 78 patients with haematological malignancies—34 patients with acute leukemia, 12 with chronic myeloblastic leukemia, 12 with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, 7 with multiple myeloma, 6 with myeloproliferative disorders, and 7 with myelodysplastic syndrome, by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. After that, the correlation of TF and TFPI were analyzed.

Majority of acute leukemias in infant, either acute lymphoblastic leukemia or acute myeloblastic leukemia, posses a chromosomal translocation affecting the 11q23 chromosome region which specifically inoles the mixed-lineage leukemia gene.1-3 Most pediatric leukemias with MLL rearrangement clearly hae a remarkably short latency.1,4 MLL gene rearrangement is also associated with secondary leukemias of patients preiously treated with the topoisomerase II inhibitors.4 The latency of these secondary leukemias is similarly ery short.4 Of note, the concordance rate of leukemia with MLL rearrangement in infant monozygotic twins approximates to 100%,1,4 and identical breakpoint in the MLL gene was shared in these pairs of identical twin infants with concordant ALL.1,4 Moreoer, the unique and clonotypic MLL fusion gene was detectable in neonatal blood spots for Guthrie cards from non-twined indiiduals who subsequently deeloped ALL.1,4 These obserations indicate not only that MLL fusion is generated in utero but also that MLL fusion proteins could be capable of inducing leukemic transformation with few, if any, secondary mutations.2,3,4 Greaes et al speculate that an MLL fusion protein somehow promotes rapid transition to full-blown disease in patients ia ery rapid clonal expansion, genetic instability, or inhibition of DNA damage repair.4 In general, for clonal expansion of malignancies, tumor cells often hae acquired strategies that escape immune sureillance of the hosts.5,6 Immune escape mechanisms also contribute to the failure of graft-ersus-leukemia effect after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.7 Therefore, leukemia cells could acquire some immune escape mechanisms during leukemogenesis.

Reactions of 2-methyl-1,4 naphthoquinone with human telomeric DNA and telomerase RNA ESR spin elimination has been used with 4-oxo-TEMPO as spin trap. The reactivities of 3VK3* with telomeric DNA, template of telomerase RNA and its L6-P6 region have been confirmed respectively. The results show that the reactivity of 3VK3* with polynucleotides is directly proportional to their G amount, and the one for reaction of 3VK3* with telomeric DNA is the highest in polynucleotides. 2. Methods Malignant tumor tissues were obtained from 11 patients with colon cancer, 15 patients with cervical cancer, 10 patients with breast cancer, 9 patients with esophageal cancer, 12 patients with lung cancer and 16 patients with gastric carcinoma. Results In Onlay island flap group, there were 5 cases with urethral fistula （21%）, 1 case with neourethral dehiscence （4%）, and none with urethral stricture; In Snodgrass group, 7 cases with urethral fistula （18%）, 1 case with neourethral dehiscence （3%）, 1 case with outside of urethral stricture （3%）, 3 repeat surgery cases without complications.

The rates of oocyte with cortical granules in cortex were 58.8％, 33.9％, 54.7％and 47.9％respectively, there was significant difference between oocytes cultured with serum, EGF and BSA(P＜0.05). In conclusion, TGFαand EGF can promote the oocyte nuclear transition from telophaseⅠto metaphase of meiosisⅡ, and improved the expression and distribution ofα-tubulin during the ovine oocytes maturation; EGF and serum could promote oocyte cytoplasm maturation. The results suggested that EGF and TGFαmight substitute some substance in serum to improve the quality of oocyte nucleus maturation in vitro, but EGF might be more functional than TGFαto promote the maturation of ovine oocyte ooplasm.

Of the 26 lesions with pontine and bulbar involvement, three had no association with other lesions (Fig 2). Twelve were associated with tegmental and superior cerebellar peduncular extension, and six showed corticospinal tract involvement in continuity with an MDJ lesion. In one patient with additional telencephalic lesions, the right side of the pons was hyperintense on long TR/TE images that did not cross the midline, suggestive of an arterial lesion (Fig 3).
