This research applied austempering heat treatment to obtain various microstructures in the matrix of ductile iron and studied their erosion wear behavior. The effects of different impact angle and microstructure on erosion wear rate and morphology wase investigated. Mechanical property evaluation together with SEM analysis was also carried out to correlate the wear behavior observed.

Be sure it could be found important meaning in the overlaying of wear-resistant equipments, such as the precise roller.
