The inhibition substances in Sorbus pohuashanensisHedl fruit not only restrained the seeds of wheat, cabbage from germinating but also restrained height and root growth. After the seeds of wheat, chinese cabbage had been soaked in the water extraction of pulp, seed and decoated seed for 8h, the seed germination rates were 92% and 84%, 89% and 65%, 94% and 78%, lower than the control, especially the water extract of decoated seed; and the root length and seedlings height were lower than the control, especially the water extract of pulp, and decreased in sequence of soaking time from short to long. So the simplest and effective method to eliminate pulp soluble inhibiting substances is to wash fruits by flowing tap water soon after collection.

By establishing the rammer numerical model, the sandy mudstone thickness recovery model, water-rock interaction particle translative simulation and hydrogeochemical simulation, and using geological statistics, analogism and complex analysis method, water circulation and water exchange of each layer in each study stage have been researched, The results show the regularity of the vadose field evolution in different stages.

The experimental results suggested that there were some rules during the fermentation as follows: pit temperature increased rapidly and then dropped at the beginning of the fermentation and kept stable eventually at 20~22 ℃; there was slight change in yellow water pH value at first and then pH value decreased gradually in middle fermentation stage and finally kept stable; the change rules of total acids of yellow water were opposite to pH change rules; the reducing sugar of yellow water increased at first and then dropped and kept stable eventually; there was almost no change in alcohol content of yellow water in prior fermentation period, and then it increased rapidly and dropped slowly and finally kept stable; gas production rate was as high as 550 L/d within the first week in fermentation and then dropped undulatingly and changed to zero or even negative gas production rate.

There was a small increase(0.5~3.7 mm/a) in soil water content in the protected grassland, however the slow rate of increase suggests that at least 150 years would be needed for ungrazed grassland soils to regain water content similar to that present prior to planting trees. Recharge of deep soil moisture was faster in cropland(15 mm/a), but at this rate it would still take about 40 years to restore cropland soil water content to pre-plantation conditions.
