For further understanding the effect of the strain on K-bearing silicate mineral, an experiment with KO2 strain cultured in nitrogen-containing and nitrogen-free medium was conducted. By putting mineral powders into the medium and measuring the concentration of capsular polysaccharides, we concluded that the strain can accelerate the weathering rate of silicate minerals. The results showed that the polysaccharides secreted by the strain in the growth process could help the bacterial to adhere to the mineral surface effectively, and created the bacterium-mineral complex, which formed a mircro-enviorment avail the release of potassium. Another result was that there was higher level of Carbonic Anhydrase activity, which revealed that some exo-protein or enzyme produced by the bacterial had postive impact on the process of releasing potassium ion. We carried out the bacterial fermentation for larger scale production of the bacterial secretion, which was used to sperate, and identify the small molecules related to the mineral-bacterial interaction. After the analysis, it was found that the strain can produce many kinds of small molecules, such as 2-Hydroxybenzoic acid, 4-Hydroxyphenylacetic acid, methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate, etc.

Results The mortality rate of mice in 80 mg/kg, day cyclophosphamide group was 16.7%, and T level [ at 30th day :( 1.38 ± 0.31 );45th day:( 1.15 ± 0.26 ) ] and T/LH ratio [ at 30th day:(0.163 ± 0.014); 45th day:(0.127 ± 0.023 ) ] were significantly decreased (all P＜0.05) at 30th day after induction;The concentration of MDA [at 15th day:(2.70 ± 0.41);30th day:(2.710.36);45th day:(2.67 ±0.43) ] was maintained at a high level (all P＜0.05) during the 45 days ; Number of Leydig's cells [ at 15th day:(9.65 ± 0.75 ); 30th day:( 14.05 ± 0.67 ); 45th day:(8.49 ± 072)] and layers of spermatogenetic epithelia [ at 15th day:(4.75 ± 0.82);30th day:(3.60 ± 0.49);45th day:(3.74 ± 0.43 ) ] were significantly decreased ( all P ＜ 0.01 ) and stabilized in a low level. The induced model was stable and the mortality rate was acceptable. In the 60 mg/kg, day cyelophosphamide group, the T level and T/LH ratio had no significant change (P ＞ 0.05 ), and the concentration of MDA ,number of Leydig' s cell and layers of spermatogenetic epithelia recovered at 30th day after induction. The induced model was unstable.

A concentration less than %o potassium sorbate hardly exerted a complete control towards short G- plump bacillus having a population density of 5x104cfu/ml. It was proved that use of l% potassium sorbute never controlled the growth of G+ coccus, G~ spirilla and enterobacter with a population density of 104cfu/ml. 1mmol EDTA completely controlled the growth of G+ short spore bacillus and G+ coccus whose cell density was 5xl04cfu/ml. A level of lmmol EDTA showed a limited inhibition against the growth of G- spirilla with a population density of 105 cfu/ml. However, a level of 10mmol EDTA completely controlled the growth of the G- spiral bacteria having a population density of 105cfu/ml. lOmmol EDTA produced a very significant control towards the growth of G"" plump short bacillus with 105cfu/ml. 20mmol EDTA showed a remarkable inhibition against the enterobacter with a population density of 105cfu/ml. Different concentrations of nisin including 25mg/mL, 50mg/mL, 75mg/mL and 100mg/mL were used as bio-preservative to examine its effects against the growth of all strains leading to the spoilage of fresh mutton meat. It was seen that there was a big difference in nisin's concentrations in inhibiting the spoiling bacteria. Generally speaking, as more as 75mg/mL of nisin significantly inhibited the growth of G+ short spore bacillus, G-plump short bacillus, enterobacter, G'spiral bacteria and G+ coccus having a population density of 105cfu/ml.

As a side note, i recently took a drive to a nearby city, about 500 km away and 4800ft of change in elevation...on the way "up" theres a sudden change in elevation for about 100 km but maybe 3000ft elev....i was in a hurry and i was at full throttle almost for the entire trip, and when i reached that steep incline, the rogue slowed down from 150kmph to 120 kmph, even if i had the pedal to the floor, it wont go faster...only after a 45 minutes period of 120kmph it started gaining speed again but didnt reach the 170kmph as i have seen before...when driving back there was no problem at all, even when i was again at full throttle most of the time...both times i was the only occupant of the vehicle on daytime driving and straightways about 50 km long...

The EC_(50) of QKL against the formation of syncytia of MT-2 induced by HIV-1_ was 1/198.02 with a SI of 5.36. By detecting the survival rate of co-culturing H9/HIV-1_ cells and MT-2 cells or MT-2 cell direct infected by HIV-1_ QKL was found to be protective to cells. The EC_(50) was 1/166.67 and 1/144.93 with SI of 4.51 and 3.92 respectively. The EC_(50) of QKL against P24 antigen production was 1/175.44 with SI of 4.75. The drug serum of QKL was also found to be effective to inhibit the cell fusion and protect cells infected by HIV-1_.
