This paper is made up of 6 chapters; chapter 1 summarizes the interaction of low molecular weight compounds with DNA; chapter 2 to 6 focus on the electrochemical studies of some organic dyes such as pyronine B, phenosafranine, brilliant cresyl blue, crystal violet, neutral red etc. and their interaction with DNA, respectively.
