Genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationship in goldfish were examined using mitochondrial D-Loop partial sequences at eight representative varieties of goldfishes and wild crucian carp. Nine representative varieties shared same haplotype. Five representative varieties of goldfishes had haplotypes respectively.

Of the 36 tussah silkworm varieties, the Nei's genetic diversity index was 0.3243±0.1515, and Shannon information index was 0.4871±0.1975, suggesting that bivoltine tussah silkworm varieties are still rich in genetic diversity even having been conserved in the same place for quite long time. Nei's genetic identity of the 36 varieties ranged from 0.4959 to 0.8347, 96.59% of which was above 0.6, revealing large similarity between different varieties. A clustering analysis showed that these varieties formed two separate clades, one of which included varieties bred by the institute and the other included imported varieties from other provinces or countries.

Moreover, the actual allele frequency of most varieties deviates far from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. In conclusion, the above study results provide a reference for the application of three kinds of molecular markers to molecular marker-assisted breeding of flower. 2. The genetic diversity among the eight introduced cut-flower varieties of Ranunculus asiatica was analyzed by the ISSR markers. Based on the genetic clustering tree, all the colorful flower varieties are clustered into one group, and the white flower varieties into another group. Moreover, among the former group the yellow flower varieties are clustered into one sub-group, and the reddish flower varieties, such as rose color, pink, nacarat, are clusetered into another sub-group.
