Incubation and pot experiments were conducted to determine the effect of the industrial and agricultural wastes of different species and different composting-levels on soil microbial community, to compare the effects of suppressing the bacterial wilt of tomato by these organic matters, and the mechanism of suppressing the disease was discussed from soil microbial ecology point of view in this paper.
