Three kinds of hydrophytes, Veliveria zizanioides Nash, Eichhornia crassipes, and Oenanthe javanica DC. were used to investigate enrichment ability of nitrogen and phosphor at the different TN levels with TP constant. It revealed the absorption ability of aquatic plants and purification ability of aquatic macrophytes-rhizosphere microorganisms system respectively in aquatic macrophytes-microorganism system for water purification.

Based on the national tenth five magnitude project — Suzhou City Water Environment Improvement and Synthesize Demonstration item, we carried out the static simulation test and the dynamic simulation test under the condition of heavy pollution loading rate and low transparency and dissolved oxygen in polluted river of suzhou ancient city district. These investigations were on the base of the formers' work. We analyzed the purification effects and rules of plant floating-bed technology on polluted river water, and also applied the technology to purify the polluted river water in Miaojia River. Conclusions were summed up in the following:The dominance plant option test was carried out among Oenanthe javanica, Lolium mutliflorum and Allium sativum under low temperature condition. The results showed that the Oenanthe javanica was the dominance floating-bed plant under low temperature condition. Its net removal rate of TN、 NH_3-N、 TP、 COD_ were 51.3%、 65.2%、 55.6%、 57.6%, respectively, and inhibition rate of algae reached 92.3%.

本论文以国家863重大科技专项——&苏州市城市水环境质量改善与综合示范&项目为依托，在前人研究的基础上，根据苏州古城区污染河道污染负荷重、透明度及溶解氧低的实际情况，通过静态、动态模拟试验，研究了植物浮床技术对污染河水的净化效果及规律，同时在苏州古城区内的苗家河开展了植物浮床技术净化污染河水的示范应用，得出了以下结论：(1)低温条件下对水芹菜、多花黑麦草、大蒜三种浮床植物筛选的试验表明：水芹菜是低温条件下浮床植物的优势种，其对TN、NH_3-N、TP、COD_的净去除率分别为51.3%、65.2%、55.6%、57.6%，对藻类的抑制率达92.3%。

With retention time prolonged, the concentrations of TN, NH4(superscript +)-N and TP of domestic sewage were obviously reduced in all floating-bed systems, however the NO4(superscript +)-N concentrations were gradualjy accumulated due to the stronger nitrification than denitrification. The plants in floating-bed system increased significantly the N2O flux, which was 174.44μg/(m^2h), 82.19μg/(m^2h), 112. 49μg/(m^2h) and 44.81μg/(m^2h), respectively, for the Lolium mutliflorum, Oenanthe javanica, Vetiveria Zizanioides arid none-plant floating-bed systems.

Among the economic crops, pachyrhizus leaf had the most remarkable treating effect, the COD treating capacity per day per unit area was 4.01g, that is, a 50% treating rate; the BOD treating capacity was 1.15 g, that is, a 35% treating rate; the TP treating capacity was 0.23 g, that is, a 16% treating rate; the TN treating capacity was 1.87 g, that is, a 74% treating rate; however, the treating effect decreased as the total amount of pollution entering this system increased by raising the water volume, which was mainly owing to the relatively short hydraulic retention time.
