Taxonomic study, as well as local assemblages of intertidal limpets occurred on rocky shores of Taiwan were conducted. In the taxonomic study, several characters such as shell morphology, coloration of body parts, structure of jaw, odontophore, length and configuration of radula sac and radula formula were applied.
