The chapter two was focused on the samarium diiodide promoted organic reactions and their applications in organic synthesis, firstly, a new synthesis of highly substituted cyclopentadienes from a,β-alkynone promoted by samarium diiodide was investigated and the highly substituted cyclopentadienes were prepared in moderate to good yields under mild conditions. Secondly, the Michael addition and Michael-aldol tandem reaction of diorganyl diselenides or diorganyl disulfides with α,β-alkynones mediated by samarium diiodide were studied and a series of alkenylsulfides and alkenylselenides were prepared in good yields. Then the highly regioselecfive nucleophilic addition of the allylsamarium bromide to α,β-alkynones were explored. We found that the allylsamarium bromide reacts with α,β-alkynones to afford regiospecificly 1. 2-nucleophilic addition products in good yields under mild condition. At last we studied the coupling reaction of aryl halides promoted by NiCl〓/PPh〓/Sm〓.

Concerned with using graph to type and scale synthesis, topological graph based upon functional fractionation is presented, the combination, evolution and inversion regularities of epicyclic gear trains are researched in detail. The synthesis problems of general and overlapping EGTs are solved. The method may be applied into the innovation design of EGTs.

Using ethyne as source gas, CNTs were successfully synthesized by CVD method. By comparing different synthesis technics, the influences of parameter to the grow of CNTs, such as catalysts, growth time, reaction temperature and ratio of all kinds of carrier gases were investigated. The results showed that the influence of carrier gas, reaction temperature, and the growth time on synthesis of CNTs was significant. In conclusion, a better condition for carbon nanotube growth was obtained. Through analyzing Raman Spectrum of samples, GM and SWNTs' characteristic peak-RBM was indicated.

The protein synthesis of Ceteuisiae fermentum cell was inhibited by NCS when they were cultured in the medium with ~(35)S-Met.3. The Ceteuisiae fermentum cells treated with NCS were mostly in G1 stage during the cell cycle measurement. The amount of cells in Gl stage increased about 20% compared to the control. These data suggested that the process of protein synthesis may be inhibited or prolonged by NCS.

In addition, single-crystalX-ray diffraction analyses were performed for 4 representa-tive new compounds. Reactivities of μ-〓 with mono- and di- Grig-nard reagents derived intermediates toward various organicelectrophilic substrates were studied, along with complexa-tion of arynyl-containing iron-sulfur clusters by 〓Thus, several bridged, non-bridged, monomeric, dimeric,homonuclear, heteronuclear iron-sullfur and iron-sulfur co-balt-carbon cluster complexes were synthesized. A novelreaction and convenient route for the synthesis in highyield of tetranuclear iron complexes 〓 containing atetracoordinated sulfur atom was discovered, whereas aplausible mechanism based on experimental results was propo-sed for the formation of the new cluster type.

Immunohistochemistry technology was used to evaluated tyrosine hydroxylase of DA synthesis. DA, 5-hydroxytryptophan(5-HT) and their respective metabolic products 3,4 -dihydroxyphenylacetic, homovanillic are also precisely quantified in this research by using high-pressure liquid chromatography with electrochemical detector. The main metabolism monoamine oxidase of DA was processed too. RESULTS:WD can increase the synthesis and the metabolism process of DA .
