Forty-sixe cases of symptomatic dynamic lumbar spinal instability were selected from the Ninth and Second People's Hospital from March 2003 to March 2007. They received dorsal spinal strenosis surgical decompression, titanium JJXA segmental pedicle screw fixation, intervertebral pace brace, intervertebral disc resection, with the sideward and the forward annulus fibrosus retained, endplate cartilage zone curetted, then received intervertebral bone particles graft, and pedicle screw compression. The patients were followed up for more than 15 months. The good and excellent rate was 91.3%.
