In the paper, the multidentate carboxylic acid ligands were used to combine with Cd, resulting in the three dimensional MOCPs single crystals—C12H16CdN2O8, with a low temperature hydrothermal synthesis method. The sample was characterized with IR spectra to affirm the organic groups in the frameworks, single-crystal X-ray diffraction to determine the crystal structure and composition of the frameworks, N2 adsorption isotherms at low temperature to measure the specific surface area and pore size distribution, and with TGA/DGA analysis to scale the thermal stability. Furthermore, the dissolution property and the photocatalytic activity of MOCPs under the ultraviolet ray condition were explored.

Here we introduced oxadiazole moiety to theside-chain of Ph-PPV to enhance the electron transport properties. The luminescenceefficiency and luminescence brightness (1.33cd/A, 9400 cd/m~2) of the Ph-PPV withside oxadiazole moiety are much higher than non-oxadiazole Ph-PPV (0.70 cd/A,2300 cd/m~2), and these polymers emitted green light which unaffected by theintroduction of oxadiazole moiety. Anthracene has a rigidity and planar structure which shows high photoluminescenceand thermo-stability.

In order to modify the dense of the hydrophilic groups of the superabsorbents, as well as reutilize wast polymer , a rigid and hydrophobic polystyrene chain have been introduced into the superabsorbent, and novel superabsorbent nanocomposites based on partially neutralized acrylic acid, waste polystyrene foam and sodium type montmorillonite powder have been synthesized. The properties of the superabsorbents, effects of various main factors on water absorbency have been systemically investigated. The structure, surface morphology and thermal stability of the composites were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM and thermo gravimetric analysis.
