Allyl starch was prepared by etherification pretreatment of introducing allyl groups onto starch, and then AS-g-PMA was synthesized through graft copolymerization between allyl starch and methyl acrylate. In this paper, aiming to solve these problems and meet the developmentrequirement, firstly a series of grafted starch sizing agent with good pasting and excellentsizing performance were synthesized utilizing the cheap mealie starch as the reactants.The denatured starch, polyacrylic size combination, nanometer compound acrylic acidcopolymerization pulp with titanium dioxide, the silicon dioxide has designed a series offormulas. The results showed the polyester size had stable viscosity and excellentfilm-formation property, thus it was a good size for fiber.
