Inflorescence development was divided into four stages, the initiating expansion pseudobulb, initiating inflorescence (1-3 cm in flower stalk length), the initial-branching flower stalk, and full bloom inflorescence, respectively. The activity variations of mannan cleaving enzymes,-mannosidase (EC 3.2.1.25), endo--mannanase (EC 3.2.1.78), and the mannan synthesizing enzyme, GDP-mannose pyrophosphorylase (EC 2.7.7.13), were analyzed during different stages to better understand the role of mannan-metabolizing enzymes during inflorescence development of the Oncidium.

In order to solve the problems of complex cellulose production process and serious pollution, The paper investigated the solubility of cotton stalk cellulose in ionic liquid N-ethyl pyridinium bromide. The structural differences between cotton stalk cellulose and cellulose regenerated from the ionic liquid were investigated using infrared spectroscopy and chemical analysis. The correlations between potassium content and nicotin among top, middle and bottom tobacco leaves were all negative. The correlation among potassium content and malondialdehyde,superoxide dismutase, conductance ratio; and protein, solubility sugar, chlorophyl and free water/bondage water were all attained marked level, however, the essence of correlation was different: the former was negative but the latter was positive. 4.The analysis of heterosis demonstrated there were different degree heterosis in the potassium content of tobacco leaf and other correlated characters, including agriculture, physiology and biochemistry.
