The patient presented with hemoptysis. An aggressive surgical intervention was performed, and the pathology showed synchronous squamous cell carcinoma and a carcinoid tumor.

病人一开始以咳血表现，因为胸部影像学检查及支气管镜抽洗液细胞学检查显示两侧肺部皆有癌侵犯，所以在第四期非小细胞肺癌合并有肺部转移的情形下开始接受化学治疗，经过三个疗程的克癌易及卡铂之化学治疗，两侧肺肿瘤的反应不一致，因此采取积极的手术处理，而病理报告显示两侧肺部肿瘤分别为鳞状上皮癌及类癌。

同时，在相关的临床症状和体征的多元线性逐步回归分析中发现，唇色紫暗、舌质紫暗、舌脉曲张、下肢肌力减弱、偏身麻木、头痛，睑下青黑、精神萎靡、舌有瘀斑、言謇失语、面色晦暗、肌肤甲错、瘫肢疼痛不移、肌肤青紫/有瘀斑及脘腹胀满对脑梗塞血瘀证诊断的影响较大；将单因素分析有显著性意义的症状、体征变量，代入贝叶斯逐步判别分析，结果发现唇色紫暗、舌脉曲张、爪甲紫暗、偏身麻木、舌质紫暗、言謇失语、睑下青黑、头痛、瘫肢温度降低、下肢肌力下降等对血瘀证的诊断能力较强，而且在随后的交互检验中也显示了较好的稳定性。
