Objective: To explore the changes on expression of NT-4 and IGF-I in spared dorsal root ganglia (DRG, L6) in operated/acupuncture side and unoperated /unacupuncture side, spinal lamina II (L3, L5, L6) and Clarke' nucleus (L3) of normal adult, partial dorsal rhizotomy and acupuncture spared DRG cats so as to know the relation between NT-4, IGF-I and the plasticity of spinal cord as well as acupuncture promoting spinal cord plasticity.

目的：探讨NT-4和IGF-I在正常猫、部分去背根猫及针刺部分去背根猫的L_6背根节和脊髓Ⅱ板层(L_3、L_5、L_6)与背核(L_3)表达的时空变化，以了解该两因子在脊髓可塑性及针刺促进脊髓可塑性中的关系。

Objective to evaluate the functional recovery of acute spinal cord injuried rats treated with exogenous wnt-3a signal protein administration and to explore its mechanism.methods moderate spinal cord contusion injury was made in 40 adult sprague dawley rats at t10.twenty rats served as contusion controls(group 1).twenty rats were treated with wnt-3a for three days after injury (group 2).the functional recovery of the rats was observed through basso,beattie,bresnahan open field locomotor score.rats were killed at 14 or 28 days after injury,then spinal cords were removed for histopathological examinations,and the expression of the bromodeoxyuridine plus neural cell markers was stained with immunohistochemical method.results rats of two groups receiving a contusive injury recovered substantial function within 1 week.by 28 days,rats in groups 2 scored 7.0 points better on the bbb scores than rats in group 1 group 2=16.94,after 28 days vs.

目的 研究外源性wnt-3a信号蛋白对脊髓损伤的修复作用，并探讨其作用机制。方法取40只成年雌性sd大鼠在t10节段制备适度脊髓挫伤模型。随机从中取20只为损伤对照组(group 1)，另外20只为损伤治疗组(group 2)。脊髓损伤3天后用wnt-3a蛋白治疗。这些大鼠的功能恢复通过basso、beattie、bresnahan开放视野运动评分来观察。这些大鼠分批在损伤后14天或28天被处死，取出损伤节段脊髓用来组织病理学检查，同时用5-溴脱氧尿嘧啶核苷和神经细胞标记物进行免疫组化染色。结果两组大鼠在伤后一周运动功能有明显的恢复。不过，到损伤后28天，我们观察发现，损伤治疗组中的大鼠bbb评分比损伤对照组中的评分高出7.0分左右(group 2∶16.94±1.18，group 1∶9.89±1.29；p.05)，光镜和电镜检查发现wnt-3a蛋白对髓鞘形成和轴突再生有一定的修复效果。

Conclusion］The spinal cord is damaged severely in double-tube diastematomyelia and gradually aggravated.Operation can get symptomatic relief in many patients and terminate spinal cord lesion. So operation should be performed as soon as the diagnosis is made. The spinal cord is damaged slightly in single-tube diastematomyelia and surgery is not indicated.

结论］双管型脊髓纵裂脊髓损害重，且呈进行性加重，精细的手术治疗可以使大多数患者症状缓解，终止神经进行性损伤，确诊后应尽早手术；单管型脊髓纵裂脊髓损害轻，不需手术探查。

Results Many neuronal cell bodies and fibers with dense mGluR7-like immunoreactivity were intensely distributed in the island of Calleja,hippocampus,dentate gyrus,medial habenular nucleus,olivary pretectal nucleus,zonal layer of the superior colliculus,superficial layers of the caudal spinal trigeminal nucleus,paratrigeminal nucleus,raphe magnus nucleus,raphe nucleus pallidus,locus coeruleus,superficial layers and lateral spinal nucleus of the spinal cord.

Eighteen patients had multilevel anterior cervical discectomies with or without internal fixation, 22 patients had decompressive surgery (12 laminectomies and 10 intersegmental decompressions) for multiseg- ment spinal stenosis, 15 patients had laminectomy with posterior spinal fixation, and remaining 9 patients had laminectomy and excision of spinal tumor.

Results Among the 90 cases of spinal cord injury, incomplete and complete transection of spinal cord was found in 14 cases (13.2%), spinal cord edema in 11 (10.4%), intraspinal cord hemorrhage in 27 (25.5%), compression and dislocation in 27(25.5%), malacia in 16(15.1%), and atrophy in 11(10.4%).

Nissal dyeing showed the decrease of neurons at the injured segment, upper and lower segments of the spinal cord. Result of immunohistochemistry showed there were caspase-3 positive expression in all the segments. The injured spinal cord and bladder expressed significantly more caspase-3 positive results (P.0l), upper and lower segments were lower than the injured segments (P.01), but higher than the control team (P.0l).

结果：HE染色发现脊髓损伤后脊髓内空洞形成、炎性细胞浸润等病理学变化，膀胱壁中可见到肌束断裂、肌细胞肥大增生、胶原增生、炎性细胞浸润等病理学改变；Nissal染色显示脊髓损伤后损伤节段及其上、下节段均出现神经元数量的减少；免疫组化结果表明3组均有不同程度的caspase-3表达，损伤组脊髓和膀胱内膜caspase-3表达较正常组显著增加(P.01)，损伤上段及下段caspase-3表达较损伤节段为少(P.01)，但均高于正常对照组(P.01)。
