A theoretical model is built to investigate the simulation of the infrared characteristic of the metal structure with the PCM false target.Structure parameters of the PCM false target that suit for the simulation are investigated numerically.According to the results,further request on the improvement of the thermal conductivity of PCM is presented.An experimental platform is built and the numerical model is validated experimentally.Three key thermal characteristic components of the false tank(barbette,wheel and front armor plate) are manufactured and tested,and good results are obtained.A method for the thermal conductivity enhancing of PCM by using aluminum fins is studied,the influence of the structure parameters of PCM plates to the simulation effects are investigated numerically,and the reasonable configuration parameters of the PCM plates used to simulate the steel plates of different thickness are obtained.In the study of the application of heat convection method in IR false target,a passive infrared simulation system is designed to simulate the infrared characteristic of metal constructions.The system is made up of pipe-plate,pump,receiver,and working fluid.

Due to the problems existing in simulation on physical model of fire, such as heavy calculation, high complexity and difficulty in real-time simulation, a new real-time simulation method was raised based on fluid model and GPU acceleration. This method, based on the physical characteristics of fire, such as incompressibility, low density and inviscid, used the fluid equations to calculate the properties of fire. Then by accelerating this method through GPU, the real-time simulation of fire was realized and a realistic effect was achieved.

Around the topic, the weak points of the traditional platform is analyzed first, such as complex arithmetic, long calculating time, high needs of hardware and so on. A real time control method based on virtual simulation is suggested to separate the complex positive/negative calculation of space kinematic and real time motion control. And a"3-2-1"type 6DOF platform is designed with the reference of the MAST (Multi-Axis Shaking Table) of MTS. The kinematic and dynamic calculation of the platform is finished. According to the calculating result, the control system of the"3-2-1"type 6DOF platform including 6 linear servo electric cylinders is designed and constructed. And the professional software Pro/E is used to do the 3D model and 6DOF motion simulation of the platform. The motion curves of the pistons of the 6 cylinders are exported with the simulation. At last the control software is programmed with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and realizes the functions with the commands of GE series motion controllers. When loading the motion curves exported with the simulation, every cylinder can follow the curve very well and the platform realizes the hoped 6DOF motion.
