The profile distributions of silicate, phosphate and nitrate suggest that the organic material decomposition in area is mainly through nitrification during early diagenesis. Based on benthic fluxes of nutrients calculated using Fick's first law, benthic fluxes of silicate, phosphate and nitrate are -886.45~42.62 mol/(m^2d),-3.04~5.83 mol/(m^2d) and -189.43~21.05 mol-(m^2d), respectively, and perhaps silicate and nitrate are one of the major sources of nutrients for bottom water. Our results also reveal temporal and spatial variations of benthic fluxes for silicate, phosphate and nitrate, which may be related to sedimentation environment changes caused by global climatologic change.

As a whole,the notable characteristic of primary productivity in size-fractioned structure was that nanoplankton occupied comparatively significant advantage in Beibu Gulf.Nanoplankton has the largest contribution to gross primary productivity,and picoplankton was the secondary contributor,while microplankton the least.The contribution of microplankton for primary productivity in the north Gulf was more than that in the other waters.Nanoplankton and picoplankton contribute more to the gross primary productivity in offshore deep waters than in inshore shallow waters3.The Beibu Gulf can be divided into three ecoregions:Region-Ⅰis the ecoregion in inshore shallow waters of the north Gulf.In average,the water depth is 18m,DIN is 1.88μmol/L,DIP is 0.20μmol/L,N:P is 9.4:1,dissolved silicate is 5.17μmol/L,the Chl a conentration in surface layer is 2.27mg·m~(-3),the assimilation index in surface layer is 3.80mg/,the primary productivity is 198.78mgC/(m~2·d), and potential fishery production is estimated to be 0.24gC/(m~2·a) according to the primary productivity.The ecoregion is mainly affected by the northern coastal water systems,and may be fit for aquaculture;Region-Ⅱis the ecoregion in offshore deep waters of the north Gulf and the coastal shallow waters to the west Hainan Island.In average,the water depth is 35m,DIN is 2.01μmol/L,DIP is 0.18μmol/L,N:P is 11.2:1,disovled silicate is 4.23μmol/L,the chlorophyll a of surface layer concentration is 1.45mg·m~(-3),the assimilation index of surface layer is 4.12 mg/,the primary productivity is 276.60mgC/(m~2·d),and the estimated potential fishery production is 0.34gC/(m~2·a) according to the primary productivity. The ecoregion was mainly influenced by ocean current from the South China Sea, rivers in the west coast of Hainan Island and the water from Qiongzhou Strait.It may be fit for aquaculture and fishery;Region-Ⅲis the ecoregion in offshore deep waters of the mid and south Gulf.In average,the water depth is 75m,DIN is 0.77μmol/L, DIP is 0.15μmol/L,N:P is 5.1:1,disovled silicate is 3.05μmol/L,the chlorophyll a of surface layer concentration is 0.70mg·m~(-3),the assimilation index of surface layer averaged is 3.69mg/,the primary productivity is 350.89mgC/(m~2·d),and the estimated potential fishery production is 0.43gC/(m~2·a) according to the primary productivity.The ecoregion was mainly affected by the circulation inside Beibu Gulf, and may be fit for fishery.

Based on the short gel-time features of ordinary cement sodium-silicate and alkali-activated salic cementitious materials, an ideal structure model of high performance sodium-silicate suspension two-shot grouting material was established. An experiment was undertaken to verify the solidification value of Na~+ and water-erosion resistance of a grouting material combined with cement and metakaolin-sodium silicate. This paper put forward a compact structure with a dominant ingredient of-Si-Al-H zeolite gel formed on later age and a minor part of C-S-H formed on early age, which composed of sodium-silicate, substances that could release Ca~(2+) spontaneously and stably or by the aid of sodium-silicate, and active salic substances.

In this paper, the marine soft soil is mixed with 10% cement added with 0.5% NaOH and 0.5% Na2CO3 separately, which form two types of new cement-soils. Comparing with the undisturbed soil and the 20% cement-soil results in that the alkalescence additive can contribute to generate a large number of needle-like, rod-like or fibriform hydrate calcium silicate crystals. The hydrate calcium silicate crystals can inhibit the generation of calcic alum crystal which would bring expansive action. At the mean time, it can separate out hydrate calcium. The hydrate calcium silicate crystals and hydrate calcium constitute the filling and inclusions together among soil particles and on the surface of soil particles, which cut down the interstices of cement soil obviously. Therefore, the soil mass can be reinforced and the intensity can be improved.

This research is concentrated on the interactive behavior between the cold-formed steel wall stud and sheathing. Three kind of test specimens used in this study includes:(1) both stud and calcium silicate board are under compression;(2) the stud sheathed with calcium silicate board is under compression; and (3) the calcium silicate board supported by stud is under compression. Three different thicknesses of calcium silicate board and three different spacing of the connecting screw were adopted in the test. Totally, 36 specimens were tested in this research.
