Scattering characteristics are studied of inhomogeneous cylinders immersed in an absorbing medium illuminated normally by plane waves. Scattering and extinction cross sections are derived, and the efficient algorithm is presented. Scattering matrix is simulated and discussed.

The angular distribution of the bistaticscattering coefficient of HH polarization were obtained by numerical implementation.
