The results showed that the cold stress could promote accumulation of Fpro in the leaves of Saccharum spontaneum L. and Sclerostachya. And when treated 3~0℃ cold stress, the content of Fpro increased with treating time, but it only increased in a short time when treated with lower temperature. Spraying sugar solution would boost the effect of cold stress. Fpro was mainly synthesized in the leaves of S. spontaneum L. and rapidly was transported to the stem and root.
