This dissertation draw a conclusion that the deposition of rift basin in early Neoproterozoic in eastern Guizhou consisted of three lithostratigraphic units in Xiang-Qian-Gui rift basin, not only developed typical Banxi Group, but also deposited grayish green Xiajiang Group with flysch suite in eastern Guizhou, and Danzhou group like in Northern Guangxi, by studying depositional sequences, sedimentary systems, depositional lithofacies and paleo-geography, sequence stratigraphy, event stratigraphy (analyzing the stages of volcanic events) and the stratigraphic correlation between Xiajiang group and the other Group in adjacent region and so on, on the basis of predecessors\' data and achievement in scientific research.

Combined the geological analysis with analogue modeling experiments,the evolution of the Yinggehai basin could be divided into four main stages:(1) Before 42Ma,controlled by the southeastward extension of the Beibu Gulf basin on the northern continental margin,the Yinggehai basin experienced dextral pull-apart.Bounded by NS-trending Yingxi fault,the transtensional areas mainly are the northwest part and along the eastern boundary of the basin.(2) From 42 to 21Ma,the development of the main rift body in Yinggehai basin was mainly controlled by the southward slip and clockwise rotation of the Indochina block along the Red River fault zone,and the sedimentation was strengthened due to the sinistral transtension.In the east,the subsidence is deepened due to the dextral transtension.(3) From 21 to 10.4Ma,the sinistral movement of the Indochina block slowed down to still.From 21 to 15.5Ma,the northwest part of the basin began to inverse locally because of post-rift thermal subsidence of the whole basin.(4) From 10.4Ma to present,the basin was affected by the dextral movement of the South China block along the Red River fault zone and thermal accident in a new phase at 5Ma.

Focusing on the PGE enrichment mechanism in the basic-ultrabasic intrusions in the Panxi rift, firstly, through the interpretation of TM photograph, data processing of regional geochemical exploration and geophysical prospecting results of gravity, magnetic force and seism, we analyzed the controlling effect of structure and magmatic movement on the PGE mineralization; Secondly, through the study of volcanic apparatus, petrography, measurement of comprehensive geochemical section, isotope tracing and dating of typical PGE-rich melanocratic rock series, we discussed the sources of the PGE-bearing mafic-ultramafic intrusions and basalts, their timing, evolvement sequences, the geochemical processes of magma crystallization and fractionation, and the relationship between magma evolution and structural development; Finally, through the analysis of PGE and chalcophile elements concentrations in the melanocratic rock series and the contrastive study with the Noril''sk magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE sulfide deposit, its related continental flood basalts and Siberia Traps, we discussed PGE mineralization characteristics and its enrichment mechanisms in the melanocratic rock series in the Panxi rift.

The metal elements of the volcanic-hosted massive sulfide deposit have two sources, the copper and zinc are derived from rhyolitic magmas whereas the lead are probably related to old sediments overlying the rhyolites.(4) It is suggested here that the volcanic rocks hosting massive sulfide deposit in the north Qilian orogen, which are previously considered as a bimodal suite of Neo-proterozoic to middle Cambrian age in a continental rift, are virtually related to subduction magmatism in Ordovician age, and there might have no continental rift magmatism of Neo-proterozoic to middle Cambrian in the north Qilian.
