A measuring system which mainly consists of a high precision motorized translation stage of one dimension, POINT GREY Flea2-14S3 CCD camera and LED light source was designed and constructed. Based on a detailed analysis for experiment results, the periodic changing law of system error of LED facula centroid location in this measuring system was found. The results indicate that based on Flea2-14S3 CCD camera, the random error of facula centroid location is about 0.018 pixels, the system error is about 0.06 pixels, and the total error is about 0.063 pixels (1/15 pixels).

The results showed that the content of Se element in the Se-MT was 2.5 folds higher than that of Zn-MT, on the contrary the content of sulfur element in Se-MT was 2 folds lower then Zn-MT, C, H, N contents in MT were no significant differences in both groups. In terms of chemical property, the element of selenium is very similar to sulfur because they are in the same group in the periodic table. The above results illustrated that the Se could replace S from SH-sulfhydryl to SeH-selenihydryl in cysteine, which presents the existence of a novel Se-MT.

Using β- amino alcohols bearing only one chiral center as catalysts for the enantiose-lective addition were studied. D-N, N-dialkyl-2-amino butanol gave poor catalytic effect be-cause of their structure. The configuration of the product is the same as the catalyst. Anotherkind of β- amino alcohols - phenylglycine derivatives and valine derivatives have chiralcenter on the carbon linked with amino group. Catalyzed by-phenylglycine derivatives 6,7, 9, 10, the reactions gave satisfied results. The optical yields exceeded 80%.
