Results After many times oral administration of Jiangtangning capsules(40~600mg/kg),the blood glucose of hyperglycemic mice,rats and rabbits induced by adrenaline,glucose,streptozotocin and alloxan was decreased obviously,and had significant dose-effect relationship,the symptoms of polydipsa,polyphagia and polyuria were improved for alloxan-induced hyperglycemic mice and rats,meanwhile the release of insulin in alloxan-induced hyperglycemic mice serum was promoted,but having no apparent influence on the normal blood glucose of mice.
