Based on that, this paper builds math model of calculating the safe distance from friendly force to target separately aiming to the difference of tank gun overhead firing in plane and undulate terrain. At last, through applying Mathematica soft, this paper presents the safe distance from friendly force to target for a tank gun overhead firing used APFSDS, HEAT and HESH, combined qualitative analysis.
