The EBA of protein with the anion exchanger Streamline DEAE was examined by investigating the effect of liquid flow rate, liquid viscosity and protein concentration. A modified mathematical model was established to describe protein adsorption behavior in the expanded bed chromatography by taking into account the axial size classification of the adsorbent within the bed.
