In this paper, based on the knowledge about the change in the microstructures and mechaniacal properties of the cast irons with the influence of temperature, stress and thermo—mechanical circulated load in working cycle of ingot mould, the temperature and stress fields have been analysed by means of thermo-elastic-plastic finitive element, and futher, the behavior of thermal stress factors in every working cycle of the mould have been investigated, by which principles for optimum design of ingot mould's structure has been put out.

In the long time creep tests, by regressive analyses, the creep curve of glauberite at different stress level is obtained: at 50% of its compressive strength, the creep curve is ε 0.009t0.3265, at 80% of compressive strength, the creep curve is ε=0.0098ln-0.0014. Gene sequence was highly homologic with a gene encoding aβ- subunit of ATP synthetase and an EST originating from a cDNA in relation to water deficit stress, which both were closely associated with the protein functioning in stress resistance and ion transportation. The results suggested that No. 1 gene sequence was involved in stress resistance of apple rootstock. No. 2 gene sequence had high homology with a gene encoding a serine/ threonine kinase protein, indicating perhaps it was a new gene encoding the serine/ threonine kinase protein in apple rootstock. The gene sequences of A1 and A2 were highly homologic with a gene encoding aβsubunit of ATP synthetase.

Along with seawater stress strength upward, the ratio of root to shoot, Na+, Cl- and soluble sugar contents were increased significantly. Under the 10% and 20% seawater treatments, chlorophyll contents have no obvious difference compared with the control, but significantly decreased when the seawater stress further increased.
